1. Introduction
Welcome to Powerplae ("Powerplae", "we", "our", or "us").
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of:
They also apply to all coaching sessions, training programmes, events, camps, workshops, courses, competitions and any other services provided by Powerplae.
By accessing our websites, booking our services or participating in any activity provided by Powerplae, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.

3. Eligibility
By booking or participating you confirm that:
you are at least 18 years of age, or
a parent or legal guardian has booked on your behalf;
you are legally capable of entering into this agreement;
all information provided is accurate;
you will comply with these Terms at all times.
Parents or guardians making bookings for minors accept these Terms on behalf of the participant.
4. Services
Powerplae provides coaching, sports training, educational programmes, events, camps, workshops and related services.
We reserve the right to amend, suspend, withdraw or modify any service at any time.
5. Bookings
All coaching sessions, courses, camps, events and services are strictly subject to availability.
Submitting a booking request does not guarantee a place.
A booking is only confirmed once:
full payment has been received; and
confirmation has been issued by Powerplae.
Powerplae reserves the right to refuse, amend, postpone or cancel bookings where reasonably necessary.
6. Payments
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
all bookings require payment in advance;
prices may change without notice;
payment must be made using an approved payment method.
Failure to make payment may result in cancellation of the booking.
7. Refund Policy
All payments made to Powerplae are non-refundable.
This includes, but is not limited to:
coaching fees;
booking fees;
administration fees;
deposits;
event fees;
course fees;
camp fees;
programme fees.
Participants are not entitled to a refund if they:
choose not to attend;
arrive late;
leave early;
are unable to attend due to illness;
change their mind;
have a scheduling conflict.
Where Powerplae cancels a session and no suitable alternative can be offered, we may, at our sole discretion or where required by law, provide either:
an alternative session;
account credit; or
a refund.
Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
8. Rescheduling
Powerplae may reschedule sessions due to:
weather;
venue issues;
coach availability;
participant safety;
unforeseen circumstances;
events beyond our reasonable control.
Rescheduled sessions will be offered where reasonably possible.
9. Participation
Participants acknowledge that sporting and physical activities involve inherent risks.
By participating, you confirm that:
you understand these risks;
you voluntarily choose to participate;
you are medically fit to take part;
you have disclosed any relevant medical conditions that could affect participation;
you will immediately stop participating if advised to do so by a coach or medical professional.
Participants agree to follow all instructions issued by Powerplae coaches and staff.
Powerplae reserves the right to remove any participant whose behaviour presents a risk to themselves or others.
10. Medical Responsibility
Participants are responsible for ensuring they are medically fit to participate.
Powerplae is not responsible for determining whether any participant is physically capable of taking part.
Participants should seek medical advice where appropriate before engaging in physical activity.
11. Assumption of Risk
Participants understand that sports coaching carries inherent risks including, but not limited to:
slips;
trips;
falls;
collisions;
strains;
sprains;
fractures;
impacts from equipment;
accidental contact with other participants.
Participants voluntarily accept these inherent risks.
12. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion would be unlawful, including liability for:
death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
fraud;
fraudulent misrepresentation;
any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to the above, Powerplae, its directors, employees, coaches, contractors, volunteers and representatives shall not be liable for any loss, injury, damage, costs or expenses arising from participation in our coaching sessions or activities where such loss or injury is not caused by our negligence or breach of legal duty.
Participants attend all sessions at their own risk and are responsible for exercising reasonable care while participating.
Powerplae shall not be liable for:
accidental injuries inherent in sporting activity;
injuries resulting from a participant's failure to follow coaching instructions;
injuries resulting from undisclosed medical conditions;
injuries caused by another participant where Powerplae has not been negligent;
indirect or consequential losses;
loss of income;
loss of profits;
business interruption;
loss of opportunity.
Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the participant for the relevant booking unless applicable law requires otherwise.
13. Personal Property
Participants bring personal belongings entirely at their own risk.
Powerplae accepts no responsibility for:
lost property;
stolen property;
damaged property;
unattended belongings.
14. Conduct
Participants must:
behave respectfully;
follow coach instructions;
comply with safety rules;
treat other participants fairly;
avoid abusive, threatening or discriminatory behaviour.
Powerplae reserves the right to remove participants without refund for unacceptable behaviour.
15. Photography and Media
Powerplae may take photographs or videos during sessions for promotional, educational or marketing purposes.
Participants who do not wish to appear in photographs or videos must notify us in writing before attending.
16. Intellectual Property
All coaching materials, programmes, documents, logos, branding, videos, graphics, website content and intellectual property remain the exclusive property of Powerplae unless otherwise stated.
No material may be copied, reproduced, distributed or commercially exploited without prior written permission.
17. Website Use
Users agree not to:
attempt unauthorised access;
upload malicious software;
interfere with website security;
misuse our services;
copy website content without permission;
use automated tools to scrape website data.
18. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.
19. Force Majeure
Powerplae shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
severe weather;
flooding;
fire;
pandemics;
government restrictions;
venue closures;
strikes;
utility failures;
internet outages.
20. Suspension and Termination
Powerplae reserves the right to suspend or terminate bookings or refuse participation where:
these Terms have been breached;
payment has not been received;
participant behaviour creates a safety risk;
fraud or abuse is suspected;
required by law.
No refund will be payable where access is terminated due to a participant's breach of these Terms.
21. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
22. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
23. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies expressly referred to within them, constitute the entire agreement between Powerplae and the participant regarding the use of our websites and services.
